⇒山野楽器のジャズ・バイヤーとして約9年間勤務。主にビッグバンドを担当し、スイング・ジャーナル誌にて"ビッグバンドを日本一売るカリスマバイヤー"と紹介される。
現在はフリーランスの立場で執筆＆取材を続けるほか、"ジャズ・シーンの今"を伝えるべく独自のルートでCD輸入なども行う。

⇒小学生でドラム、ユーフォニアムを始める。その後、スカやジャズに興味を持ち、中学2年生進級時にトロンボーンに転向。高校在学中は吹奏楽部に在籍するほか、スカバンドやビッグバンドなどの活動も開始。
ビッグバンド理論を中川喜弘氏に、楽器奏法を東條あづさ氏に師事。
